Work Experience

Description: You will have the opportunity to work for both the language school as well as be given direct Travelmania assignments. You will gain experience in one or more of the following sectors, depending on your personal strengths and language skills:

Events Management- support with organizing and planning the schools leisure activities and organisation of PR event (on Cancun beach)

Destination Branding - conceptualisation and development of unique destination reviews

Journalism - conducting interviews and production and editing of tourism marketing videos

Product Innovation - developing new or improving existing travel products

Web Design and Development - developing web contents and online articles as well as translation of documents and advertising material

Front Desk Management - support with customer care and incoming phone calls

Administration- day to day business administration tasks

E-Marketing - organisation of regional e-marketing campaigns

Non-For-Profit Marketing- working on marketing for travelmania sponsored not for profit projects

Working languages: English and Spanish

Hours: Monday till Thursday 2pm-6pm or 4pm-8pm (16hrs/week )

After successful completion you will recieve € 300 for travel costs and a Travelmania Internship Certificate

Language course

As part of your internship in Valencia you will be attending spanish lessons at the school that you will be spending part of your time working with. This will give you the opportunity to increase your level of Spanish which you will increasingly need for your work experience. You will also be able to attend the many activities put on by the school that will allow you to get to know Valencia and other students.

After successful completion you will receive a Language Course Certificate diplaying your level of Spanish

Thesis for University and University of Applied Sciences

Some of our interns want to do their thesis at our company. We encourage research activities and are open to many research fields suggested by the intern. We support our interns with their work and give them one full day of working time to write on their thesis during the internship. Please contact us for possible topics for your thesis.

Your profile

You are business minded, creative and have excellent social skills. You have at least intermediate Spanish and English skills and a strong interest in working in a travel related business. You are team orientated and excited to live and work in Valencia.
