Office hours: Mo-Thu 10am – 17.30pm
Fr 10am – 3pm (35h/week)
Up to € 300,- EU-scholarship/month + sales commission

Spanish-Language Course
from June 13th – July 1st (from 3 weeks or more, optional)

Working language: English and Spanish

Optional Spanish language course before the internship:
As a preparation for your internship you have the possibility to attend a Spanish Language course of 10 or 20 hours/week. This will give you the opportunity to increase your level of Spanish and give you the chance to get to know Valencia and its surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere before you start working with us. The language course is subsidized by the EU and Travelmania.at and will cost between 80 and 170 Euros for the three weeks. You will receive further information about the Spanish language course after your successful application.

International internship program

Dates

The summer internship programme in our Valencia office starts at 4th of July and lasts until 23rd of September 2011. In some cases you will be able to extend your stay with our team in Valencia. Please contact us if you are interested in an extension of your stay.

Office hours

Our office hours in Valencia are 10am until 5.30pm from Monday to Thursday. 10am until 3pm on Friday, with a one hour break each day.
Holidays
Besides the 15th of August each intern will be granted 5 working days of holidays.

Salary

Travelmania.at will provide no salary except for possible sales commissions earned by the intern during his or her time of stay. Our programme is subsidized by the European Union as well as several national institutions. Travelmania.at is one of the most innovative and fastest growing travel agencies in Austria. Since the foundation in 2006 we have organized hands-on marketing internships for students and young people from all over the world. The hands-on internship in our young company´s new office in Valencia is an attractive alternative for classic internships in a foreign country.

Thesis for University and University of Applied Sciences

Some of our interns want to do their thesis at our company. We encourage research activities and are open to many research fields suggested by the intern. We support our interns with their work and give them one full day of working time to write on their thesis during the internship. Please contact us for possible topics for your thesis.

Job description

You will work in an international team in our companies marketing department in Valencia. The internship will be in English and Spanish language, depending on your language skills. Your activities will include tasks out of one or more of the following sectors, depending on your personal strengths and language skills: B2B and B2C communication, event management, e-marketing, international sales management, product innovation, destinations management, product and service design, translations, web design, graphics design, business correspondence and day to day travel agency business.

Your profile

You are business minded, creative and have excellent social skills. You have advanced English skills and strong interest in working in a travel related business. You are team orientated and excited to live and work in Valencia for at least two months.
