Working language: English
Language course in the mornings and the internship will take place Monday to Thursday from 2pm till 6pm. This is the best combination for you to practice your Spanish in school and English at Travelmania with international students.
International internship program
- Place: Valencia, Spain
- Starting dates: July 2nd - end of September 2012, "every 1st monday of the month"
- Work Experience: Monday till Thursday 2pm – 6pm (16h/week)
- Spanish language course:
option 10 hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 11:15am (10 lessons/week) 2 grammar lessons or 2 conversation lessons per day
(changeable every week)
option 20 hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 13:00am (20 lessons/week) 2 grammar lessons + 2 conversation lessons per day
- Accommodation: International Student Flat, single room or single room DELUX
- Activities: welcome party in Valencia`s best discos - MAY, LAS ANIMAS, Mirror; city tours; beach excursions; tapas tours; salsa night,

Travelmania is one of the most innovative and fastest growing travel agencies in Austria. Since its foundation in 2006 we have organised hands-on marketing internships for students and young people from all over the world. The hands-on internship in our young company´s new office in Valencia is an attractive alternative for classic internships in a foreign country.

Thesis for University and University of Applied Sciences
Some of our interns want to do their thesis at our company. We encourage research activities and are open to many research fields suggested by the intern. You will work in an international team in our company´s marketing department in Valencia. The internship will be in English and good spoken and written English skills are an important requirement. Your activities will include tasks out of one or more of the following sectors, depending on your personal strengths and language skills: B2B and B2C communication, event management, e-marketing, international sales management, product innovation, destinations management, product and service design, translations, web design, graphics design, business correspondence and day to day travel agency business.Your profile
You are business minded, creative and have excellent social skills. You have advanced English skills and strong interest in working in a travel related business. You are team orientated and excited to live and work in Valencia.

Accommodation
The accommodation for interns is in shared apartments located in the districts Central and Extramurs. All Travelmania apartments are within five to fifteen minutes walking distance to the office and conveniently located close to shopping and sports facilities as well as the Angel Guimera metro stop.
Facilities Include
Single and double room accommodation sharing the apartment with other interns.

A welcome pack will also be waiting for you upon arrival. This will include a few things to get your trip off to a good start. Among other things a map and a beach towel.
The internship
Projects
There are a wide variety of projects available. Such as product and service innovation, web and software design, social media marketing, establishing B2B cooperation as well as various marketing activities for non for profit projects.
Certificates
A certificate acknowledging participation with an outline of the completed projects and particular key strengths will be given to interns at the completion of the internship.

Lanugage course
Our language school in Valencia is situated in a own little house next to the university building and only 20 minutes walk from the old town and the beach. The school can host up to 600 students at the same time and also offers language courses for Spanish people. During your breaks you will be able to get in touch with locals easily.
Our schools organized weekend-excursions to Madrid, Barcelona or Ibiza are very popular and offer a chance to explore Spain. The school also organizes guided tours of Valencia, a guided tour of City of Arts and Sciences, excursions to museums or simple activities like a Spanish movie night
